Ross de Kretser has over four years of experience writing copy for many leading Australian companies and across most of Australia's best-known magazines. From his engineering background, he has gained a wealth of experience in business and technical communication and presentations. He also has written and designed freelance contributions to the Good Weekend magazine and designed a range of greeting cards for Hallmark Cards Australia.

His first book, The Domestic Crime File, was released by Hardie Grant Publishing in October 2005.
